Embraces in Kamasutra I - XII - Ravi Kopra
I
The twinning of a creeper
She is clinging to her lover
Like a creeper twines
Around a tree.
He is bending his head
Down to hers,
Desiring to kiss her
Making sounds of sut, sut.
She’s embracing him
And looks lovingly at him.
She’s thus loving him
As the creeper loves a tree-
Together being one in love.
***
II
The Touching Embrace
He goes near her
Playing under a guise,
Approaches in front
Or alongside her
And touches her body,
Apparently innocently,
With his body, he’s telling
Her he desires her.
***
III
The Rubbing Embrace
Two lovers walking,
Slowly together,
In the dark,
In the public
Or in a lonely place
And rubbing
Their bodies together,
Embrace in a rubbing embrace.
***
IV
The Pressing Embrace
He is walking alongside her,
He presses her
Against a pillar or a wall,
He thus holds her in a pressing embrace.
***
V
The Piercing Embrace
In a lonely place,
Near a man sitting or standing,
She bends down to pick something
And thrusts her breasts upon him.
He holds her in his arms
Pressing his chest to her breasts
Embracing her in a piercing embrace.
***
VI
Climbing A Tree
She puts one foot
On the foot of her lover
And the other she puts
Around his thighs.
Embraces him with one arm,
The other she places on his shoulders.
Looking as if she were climbing and tree,
Singing and cooing she desires his kiss.
***
VII
Milk and Water Embrace
Their legs stretched,
She sits in his lap,
Face to face on a bed,
Belly to belly pressed together.
They are in deep love.
They think of pleasure, no pain,
They embrace so tight
As if to penetrate each other.
Mixing like milk and water
They such embrace.
***
VIII
The Embrace of the Thighs
He lies down on top of her,
Face to face.
She places her thigh
Between his thighs
And her arms around his hips.
His chest lies upon her breasts
While he presses her thigh with his thighs
In this loving pressing embrace.
***
IX
The Embrace of Jaghana
He lies down on top of her,
Face to face.
Their legs stretched,
Her arms around his hips.
Mounting her thus,
Pressing his lower belly and pelvis
Tightly onto hers, he scratches her
With nails and fingers and he bites her.
He kisses her and strikes her lovingly.
Her hair is loose and flowing
In this embrace of Jaghana.
***
X
The Embrace of the Forehead
Standing face to face,
They touch their mouths,
Eyes and foreheads,
In this loving embrace.
***
XI
The Embrace of the Breasts
Standing face to face
He places his breast
Between her breasts and presses
Her tight in this embrace.
***
XII
The Mixture of Sesamum Seed with Rice
Lovers lie on a bed,
Their arms and thighs intertwine,
As if rubbing against each other’s,
Like the mixing of sesamus seed with rice.
