Two Women - Ravi Kopra
First
A single, unhappy Indian woman
spends hours wondering
when her prince-charming
would be coming
to fulfill her dreams.
She shows her talent
writing crappy prose and poetry,
her readers boost her ego
adding further to her misery.
But poor big-head lady
doest not open her eyes
to see what she is.
Her problem is:
she does not know
she is not as good
as she thinks she is.
*****
Second
She is a newly wed Indian house wife,
--a victim of arranged marriage--
her husband does not like her.
Seeing her, his groins do not fire up.
He spends his time away from home
drinking and shooting crap
with his old buddies.
He hurls insults on her
and tells her she's no good for him.
She takes all crap
and begs to be with him.
Her problem is:
she does not know
she’d never win his heart
begging for love and mercy.
She does not know
how to light the flames of love,
burning his heart in passion
lying naked next to him.
