Louder Voice - Ravi Kopra
Shouting aloud,
Standing at the roof of his temple,
Like a muezzin in his minaret,
Using loudspeakers,
He's invoking his gods:
Shiva and Vishnu,
Sarasvati and Parvati,
Durga and Kali,
Quoting Bulleh Shah and Bahu,
Vivekananda and Shivananda.
O Father and Son!
O holy Allah!
Listen to his pleadings,
He is cussing science,
Give him some sense.
He is sending messages,
Not by clouds, nor by pidgeons,
Nor by the smoke of fires,
But by what the cussed science gave him:
The web, the internet.
Standing at the roof of his temple,
Like a muezzin in his minaret,
Using loudspeakers,
He's invoking his gods:
Shiva and Vishnu,
Sarasvati and Parvati,
Durga and Kali,
Quoting Bulleh Shah and Bahu,
Vivekananda and Shivananda.
O Father and Son!
O holy Allah!
Listen to his pleadings,
He is cussing science,
Give him some sense.
He is sending messages,
Not by clouds, nor by pidgeons,
Nor by the smoke of fires,
But by what the cussed science gave him:
The web, the internet.
